In films, there are a myriad of ways wherein the triumph of the human spirit has been showcased. However, there is possibly no better way to exhibit this kind of victory than through films about sports. Well, it does not really need to be wholly about sports but something that touches a certain sport discipline. This is because there is this peculiar element in sports movies where a sense of inspiration can easily be drawn. Movies about the struggles of athletes to get to the top and become champions have a certain way of hitting the centre of our hearts. They have this ambiguous effect of making us feel human while at the same time challenging our ability to go beyond what we are capable of. Films like these are indeed always a joy to watch!
